Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): no spark on lawn mower, question pool, coil ignition

i bought a used lawn mower (cub cadet #12a997a100). i have no spark! i took it apart and inspected the wires (connections) and cleaned the magneto everything looks right.the mower is very clean ,oil, recoil pulls well, new gas, everything is good , but no spark! any ideas? there is a little (module?) where the plug wire is attached. could that b

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. If this on a Rider, then Check the Safety Switches First. Remove the Coil/Ignition Module Shut Off Wire and Check for Fire at the Plug. If there is Fire, then a Safety Switch is Bad. If No Fire, then the Coil/Ignition Module is Bad. The Same Check is Done on the Push Mower except there are No Safety Switches, Just the Cut Off Switch Located at the Engine Brake. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance.
