Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): spicer transmission, drive pulley, hydrostatic transmission

Question
QUESTION: I purchased a Murray Ultra 15.5 HP, 42" cut riding mower at a yard sale. The reservoir on the hydrostatic transmission was completely dry when I got it, and I need to know what type of oil to use.  You can jack it up and the wheels turn back and forth, but you can stop them from turning by holding them.  Would the pump be bad, and if so, do you know where I can get a part.  The numbers on the transmission are 04-26-96-5A and under the barcode is 093264.  There is another number below there, 046855, but I'm not sure what that is.  Just in case, the B&S Diamond IC motor #'s are Type=115-u1, Code=960508zd, Model=28N707.
The number on the frame is missing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
ANSWER: Hello Francis:

Have you Checked the Drive Pulley Tension? Send me the Model Numbers off the Mower, Please. Thanks.

QUESTION: Yes, the drive pulley is a tight, so I know the belt is not slipping.  There are no model #'s because the tag was removed before I got it.  Any other ideas?  If you'd like, you can call me @ 904-813-4943 or give me your number, and I'll call you.
