hard to start when it does no power then dies ck muffler kit in carb changed plug not been used much have only 80to85 lbs comp is it worth putting in rings or may there be other problems thanks

I have to Leave that Decision Up to You. From your Description it Sounds like the Compression is Your Cause of the Power Loss. You have Cleaned the Exhaust Port and Muffler and rebuilt the Carburetor. So the Cost of the Jug Assembly and Gasket Set VS the Cost of a New Trimmer is What you are Looking at.
