Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): montgomery ward riding tiller, crank length, model type

Question
I have an old riding tiller and want to buy a new engine for it. I have the model, type, and code but don't know how to cross reference to a new model? Can you help please

Answer
This unit is so old it maybe impossible to find an exact  replacement engine. The EPA has killed this engine long ago.
The main thing you are concerned about is the crank length, diameter, and keyway size.
If you have this info your Briggs dealer should be able to help you.
If you can send me these dimensions I can help you but I can't sell you the engine. I will research for you if you send me model, type and spec for this motor but I recommend cutting out the middleman and let the Briggs dealer do the research. He is going to be the one making the profit, so,you might as well let him earn that profit.
