i dont know if can answer questions about sport bikes but i have one and hope you can answer!! i just bought a 2007 suzuki gsxr 600 and i have 500 miles on it. in those first 500 my F1 light came on 3 seperate times and according to the manual that has to do with the fuel injection! it says to take it to a authorized suzuki agent! i thought i could save time by asking you. when it comes on it only stays on until i shut my engine off and shut off the kill switch and when i start it up again it doesnt not come back on. so like i said it has only happened 3 times but all in the first 500 miles of buying it! PLEASE if you have any idea please let me know! if you think i should take it in to be looked at please let me know! all i ask is for your honesty!!!!

I Work on ATVs and Dirt Bikes as a Hobby even Now. I am Restoring a 1995 Yamaha Wolverine at the Present. I have had Several of My Friends Comment on this Problem. I have Found 2 Primary Causes for this Problem is: 1- Fuel Injector Sticking. I have to Use Fuel Injector Cleaner in A;; My Vehicles Every Other Yank. If I Don't; Half Way Through the 2nd Tank I have Fuel Mileage Problems. *Actually the Injectors are Sticking Slightly and Causing the Engine to Burn Rich.* 2- Bad Connections. Even New from the Manufacturer, I have Found the Connections Loose and Corroded. This Allows for BRIEF Circuit Interrupts that Cause the System to Show a Problem with the Fuel Injection System. This is Usually the Case when the Code Shows but there is No Operational Difference in the Engine. If the Code is Thrown and All the Connections are Good, then it May be; a Cracked Circuit Board in the Computer, a Bad Sensor, and Ect. Thats Why it is Suggested you Return it to the Dealer. They have the Equipment to Do a Proper Diagnostic. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
