Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 6hp timing, s a tank, correct polarity

Question
Some one gave me a tiller that had been setting out for a few years. I am in the process of cleaning it up and getting to refire. The valves were stuck but I have them freed up now,and the carb is in chem-dip. My problem is the magnets that mount on the inside of the flywheel have come loose. I think they were glued into place for timing. What I'm trying to figure out, is where to place them back. and how to remount them. Any help, would be appreciated. Thanks

Answer
The flywheel must be replaced. The magnets have nothing to do with timing. The magnets generate the electricity to fire the coil. YOU CANNOT REPAIR!!!!!!.
The magnets must be precisly set with correct polarity or it will not work. there isn't an adhesive available that i would trust.
Green hundred mile an hour tape might though. That's a tank joke, I'm not serious.
