Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Peerless 2300, transaxle, proper direction

Question
Hello Sir,

I am planning to use a Peerless 2333 transaxle on a landscape wagon powered by a 6hp engine.  I am wondering if it will cause any damage running the transaxle backwards...turning the input pully in the opposite direction that it was turned on the the JD 214?
Thanks for your time.
Ben

Answer
 Hello Ben:

I Don't Suggest it. The Gears are Designed (the Gear Bevels are Slanted on Some of the Gears) to Turn 1 Direction Only. If you Really want to Use the Transaxle, then Route your Pulleys So they Turn the Transaxle Input the Proper Direction. Hope this helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
