Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda HR214SX lawn mower, crankcase oil, 2cycle oil
QuestionI recently bought a Honda HR214SX mower at a garage sale. I am unable to download the owners manual fron the Honda website to get the answer to a question. Someone told me that with this mower you need to add oil to the gas (ie like a two stroke engine) this does not seem right to me but I wanted to find out for sure before I messed it up.

Some Honda Engines are 2cycle. If you Engine has a Crankcase Oil Fill, then the Engine is Not a 2cycle and Requires NO 2cycle Oil in the Gas. If there is No Crankcase Oil Fill, then 2cycle Oil HAS to be Added to the Gas. This is True for All Engines. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.
