QuestionI have a Craftsman Lawn Tractor Mdl#917273220 with a 24hp twin cyl engine. When I start the engine it runs for about 2 to 3 seconds then dies. Ive checked all the fuel lines,gas cap, ect. but to no avail. It has fresh gas in it and the filter is clear. what do you think could be wrong. It was running fine when I put it in the garage last summer. Thanks for your time!

From your Description it Sounds like the Carburetor Shut Off Solenoid May be Bad or the Carburetor Needs to be Removed, Disassembled and Soaked Overnight in Carburetor Cleaner. Then Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air and Install New Kit. The Engine is a Kohler 24hp Model CV26S-69526. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance.
