I have a 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo,4.0,auto.1) I have had an intermittent problem with shutting off when coming to a stop.2)An intermittent miss under power that is like the ignigtion being cut off then back on (jolts).The problems have gotten progressively worse and now it shuts off while under power at highway speed. After a cooldown period,the engine will usually crank. Code 27 is present for injectors 1-6. Would vapor lock cause this situation? Your ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have an electrical problem.  I would guess you may have a problem with the injectors with the code you have. You may also have a computer problem.  Have you had a tune-up recently?  Just changing the plugs and wires may help you greatly.  Sorry I couldnt be more helpful.
