i have a chain saw and it ran good last yr but now it wont even start up it has spark and is getting fuel but not starting up please help thanks jim

 Hello Jim:

 Have you Removed the Air Filter and Put 1 Table Spoon of Gas Into the Carburetor with the Throttle Held at Full Open? Try to Start the Trimmer while Holding the Throttle Full Open. What Happens? Remove the Muffler and Check the Exhaust Port and Muffler for Blockage. If these are Clear, then Check the Compression. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance.
