Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kohler yardmaster 15hp w/auto trans, yardmaster, lubing

Hi John, you come highly recommended. I recently moved to take care of my mom and she had a Yardmaster, garaged for 5 years. Battery, carb cleaning got it fired, usual lubing. After about 5 minutes an unusual whine came from the HydroTrans and foreward/reverse ceased to operate. The whine disappears when the disengage lever is moved. Any Ideas? Thanks, John,

 Thanks for the Compliment. There are Several Possibilities for this Problem and they Depend on the OEM and Model of the Transaxle. On the Transaxle is an OEM Plate. Send me the OEM and the Numbers Off this Plate, Please. With these I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL and Better Assist you. The Repair is Internal and the Breakdown/IPL will Assist you in Making this Repair Also. I can Use the Breakdown/IPL for a Reference when Explaining how to Diagnose and Repair the Transaxle. Thanks.
