Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Troy Bilt Trimmer Starter Recoil, line trimmer, troy bilt

Question
I have a Troy Bilt TB90BC line trimmer with the spring assist starting system.  It slips and sounds like a "rachet" when trying to start.  I cannot determine how to disassemble the motor from the shaft to get to the recoil for repair.  I'm somewhat mechanically handy, but this one has me baffled!  Thanks for your help.

Answer
 Hello Ricky:

Go to this Addy http://www.buymtdonline.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/BuyMTDOnline/index.jsp and Select the Troy Bilt Logo. Then Select the Detailed Parts Finder. In the New Window, you need to Enter the Model Numbers TB90BC and Click Search. Now Select your Model Trimmer from the 5 Listed in the Results Area and Double CLick on it. I used the First One Listed for Reference. Select the Engine Parts Folder. I usually have to Explode the View a Couple of Times to get the Breakdown/IPl Large enough to Read it. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.

 Good Luck
