The unit is hard to start and when it does start it sounds like it is "missing". I Was wondering if that unit has points & condenser or what else it can be. the carb. is diaphragm type no float bowl. i would app. any help than you can give me, thanks

Answer
 Hello Scott:

You can View a Breakdown/IPL at this Addy http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Enter the Model Numbers H30-3580R and Click Go. Then Download the File for Online Viewing. Two Causes for this Problem. 1- Valves Need to be reseated and Adjusted. 2- Bad Coil(solid state ignition). Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
