Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tensioner Pulley, tecumseh engine repair, craftsman snowblower

Question
I just had my my 4 HP Tecumseh engine repair and was re-installing it on my craftsman snowblower. I am having trouble with the tensioner pulley for the drive belt. the spring had come off and I am not sure where it goes or which side of the drive belt it applies pressure to (left or right. Can you help? diagrams would be great!

Answer
What is the model number of the snowblower?  An easy way to identify belt routing is to inspect the pulleys.  If the pulley has a deep "V" groove then the inside or V of the belt rides in the pulley.  If the pulley has a flat design then the back of the belt goes on the flat of the pulley.

If you go to the Sears website, under "Parts", you can type in your model number and see the diagram.
Let me know if this helps.
