-----Question-----Hi John, welcome back! Since last that we had contact about the lawnmower in question,I did what you had instructed but it is would only fire in the chamber when gas was squirted in.Since then,I had left this carb in the gunk solution and have tried to contact you.I have done nothing further hoping that time would help this old gas break down in the gunk and free the flow.Got any followup tips. Thanks, stay well
Got a craftman 6.5,22" mower from someone who had used this mower with gas in it for close to three years, yep!I got rid of the gas ,soaked the carb. in gumout for three days, and sprayed the portals with air to clear the passages Put it all together ,fresh gas, plug, but it will not start!Put about four eyedropper full of gas in the spark plug chamber and it started with that small amount then shut right off.I do not hear anything when I prime it with the rubber bulb.I I am not getting a gas flow, but do not know where to go from there.Got any ideas, thanks!  Hello Bobby:

If the Carburetor Sit for 3 Years with the Gas in it, then Soak it for 24 Hours in Gunk Carburetor Cleaner. I have Used Gumout and it Doesn't Perform as Well as the Gunk. The Jet is Still Clogged. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks. Be Safe.

 Good Luck

Answer
 Hello Bobby:

Thanks. I've been in the Hospital and am Now Better. Check the Compression. If the Valves are not Seating Properly, then there isn't enough Vacuum to Pull Gas through the Carburetor. It will have Enough Compression to Run if you put Gas Into the Cylinder, but Not Pull. Usually, I you Remove the Air Filter, you can See Gas Pushed Into the Carburetor Throat when you Depress the Primer Bulb a Few Times. If Not, then the Carburetor is Still Dirty and May Require Replacing. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.
