Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): linkages/choke/throttle assembly, far front, throttle assembly

Hi Jeff
I have a tecumsh push lawnmower Model Lev 100 340003c WTPXS 1631 BA. I had the carburetor rebuilt and when I placed the carburetor back I cant remember how the linkages go. I have two linkages one of them has a spring but I cant figure out how to hook up the choke on the throttle assembly.

fred>  does it have say  like a flat plate accross the top of carb. held by two screws into carb. body?
if it does, the linkage with the spring goes to it.
the longer one with the bend in it goes to carb. thottle> far outter hole.  there will be a tag on that plate which  opens choke when the plate is adjusted right. off hand with out looking into book,  i,m going to say  the plate should be mounted to the far front of mower via. the sloted holes in plate before tight.   i,ll have to do some reserch for you  let me know if this helps til then
