Question
Thank you for such a quick reply John!!

I'm confused as to the throttle location, tho.
This model has no manual throttle lever.

I understand the hi & low  screw locations, but not the throttle or governor.

Mr. Bridges
i have 2 of these and one was making a knocking noise,
I turned what I think is the engine idle down, with the screw on the upper left side, but I can't seem to get it to start now.
Can you help me with carb cleaning/or rebuild and fuel mixture settings please?
Many thanks

 Hello Tom:

As for the Engine Knocking; Make Sure the Blade is Tightened Properly. If the Blade is Loose it can Sound like a Knock. As for the Carburetor Settings, I have a Lot of Requests for this Info and the Following is a Work in Progress. The Instructions Cover All Small Engine Carburetors even Chain Saw Carburetors. Read the Complete Text before Setting the Air Mixture Screws, Please. **The High Air Mixture Screw is In the Carburetor Bowl in the Center of the Nut or Some Carburetors have Both the Low and High Side by Side on the Top Side of the Carburetor. The Screw Closest to the Engine Is Usually the High Air Mixture Screw on this Type Carburetor. The Low Air Mixture is the One at Top on the Side and Goes Into the Carburetor. Some have the Idle Air Mixture Screw Going Vertically Into the Top of the Carburetor. The Idle Screw is the One that Moves the Throttle Plate. The Following is the Directions for Setting these Screws. **If the Carburetor was Soaked Overnight in Carburetor Cleaning Solution (I use Gunk) and the Passages Blown Out with Compressed Air and a New Kit Installed,  then we can Set the Air Mixture Screws. Turn Both Air Mixture Screws In Until Seated. **DO NOT JAM  SNUG ONLY** Turn Both Screws Out 1 1/2 Turns. Set the Throttle to Full Open and Start the Engine. Override the Throttle by Pushing the Governor Arm by Hand and Turn the High Air Mixture Screw(bottom of the bowl) In Until the Engine is Revving Properly. Now Slow Engine to Idle. Set the Low Air Mixture Screw so there is No Hesitation when Throttling from Idle to Full Throttle. Now Set the Idle if Required.** Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks. Be Safe.

 Good Luck

Answer
 Hello Tom:

I am Sorry. I Usually Include the Site Add or Manual that I use for Reference and I Failed to Do So. Go to this Addy http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers. The Download the File Listed.  On Page 1 of 5, Diagram Number 207 is the Throttle Link. It is Connected to the Governor Arm (Diagram Number 16). All you need to Do is Ensure there is No Hesitation or Stalling when Revving the Engine RPM's. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
