Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): transaxle, rally lawn tractor, dana transaxle

Question
i have a rally lawn tractor with a 12.5hp tecumseh engine which i just rebuilt and is fine and i was wondering about my dana transaxle modle number DANA-FOOTE-SPICER -4360-51 but i think the number was superceded by 4360-125 not to sure any way i was wandering is it supposed shift gears with out pushing in the clutch or do i need to fix it thanks

P.S the tractors model number is AYP-MODEL-RLT125R38B

 Hello Jason:

 On this Model I Believe you can Shift without using the Clutch/Brake. I have 2 of these and the Transaxle is Designed for this Type of shift. I couldn't Locate a Manual or an Online Manual for the 2 Model Transaxles you Listed I found a 4360-124 and 4360-126. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.
