Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman 18hp Lawn tractor, engine cranks, jumper cables

Question
At full throttle it read 14.2.  The tractor model is 917.255960 with a Kohler engine model M18qs spec#24665.  It does have a relay under the seat but I don't know how to test it or the other relays. Thanks.

-----Question-----
I turned my tractor off to dump some leaves and when I went to start it back up all I got was a constant clicking noise.  I just put a new starter in a few weeks ago and it had been working great.  I have fully charged the battery. Cleaned all the terminals. Replaced the solenoid(No Change-except I might get one click then a series of clicks). When I hook up jumper cables from the battery to the starter terminal on the solenoid the engine cranks right up.  Is it possible I bought a bad solenoid? Or do I have bad wiring somewhere?
-----Answer-----
 Hello John:

What is the Voltage is the Battery Showing when the Engine is a Full Throttle. It Should Show Between 12.8VDC to 14.0VDC. Have the Battery Load Tested. Even New it May have a Dead/Weak Cell. The Battery Wires May be Corroded Inside the Insulation. The New Solenoid May be Bad. Does this Mower have the Relay Under the Seat. This Relay May be Bad. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

Answer
 Hello John:

The Relays are the Same. Move 1 of the Outer Relays to the Middle. The Middle Relay is the 1 that Usually goes bad. You can View a Breakdown at this Addy http://www3.sears.com/ and Select the Lawn Equipment Box. Then Follow the Instructions to the View Diagram/View Parts List Page. Hope this Helps.
