Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): tiller/w B&S engine, ajusted, engine model

Question

-------------------------------------------
The text above is a follow-up to ...the float appears to be ok. No gas inside float an tab ajusted where float is level accross.
I called b&s and they said there was no needle seat for that carb.

-----Question-----
I have an old Sears tiller with a B&S engine (model 190402,
type 0641, type 72xxxx). There was gas leaking out of the carburetor so I put a new carb kit in it. I noticed the kit had an inlet needle seat but it was too big to fit in my carb. I figure it was for a newer carb so I replace the inlet needle w/o the seat.
After repair gas was still leaking out of the carb. What would be wrong?
-----Answer-----
alot  could be wrong here.  improper float setting to close needle and seat.
improper needle and seat
or not closing off fuel  at seat.
is there gas in float  ,  sometimes they get small hole in them,  and do not float up in carb to turn off flow of fuel.

Answer
some of these older b&s  had a normally not servicable needle and set. you had to had a shop  remove it and put the one you got with kit into it.  what i use to do is... tap the old seat inside and use a bolt to screw down into it,>>>>> thus  pulling the seat up and out .  then replacing it with the new one being pressed into place.
hopefully you can follow these directions and understand.
