Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): OHV engines, gentle slope, steep slopes

Question
My current lawn is basically flat with a gentle slope from one side to the other.  I'm looking for a good mulching mower - what do you recommend?

-----Question-----
Backgorund:  I have a John Deere JS60 push mower which recently started running very rough.  The dealer says the piston is damaged from running low on oil or from being operated at a steep side angle (in a ditch).  They did clean the fuel system.  I have never found it to be low on oil, and my current yard (past two years) is relatively flat, though the previous four years the lawn had several sloping areas. I plan to replace the mower in the near future - they recommended buying a mower with a two-cycle engine.  My question: is there any benefit with regards to lubrication with an OHV engine?  I see that the Toro 20057 says it has an OHV engine with pressure lubrication.

 Hello Rick:

If the Area you are Working has Slopes and Hills or Ditches, I Suggest the 2-cycle Engines Also. Even the Engines with the Oil Pumps have Problems on Steep Slopes and Hills. For a Push Mower I use the Lawn Boy 2-cycle 21" Cut Mower. You can't Beat the Service that they Give. I Live in the West Virginia Foot Hills and have a Lot of Hilly Areas to Mow and the 2-cycle is the Best. I Will Caution You though; Make Sure you Mark the Gas Cans and Ensure Mixed Gas is Always Used in Any 2-cycle Engine. The Biggest Problem I see is People Using Straight Gas in a 2-cycle Engine. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.

Answer
 Hello Rick:

On Hilly or Slopping Terrain I Prefer Lawn Boy 2-cycle Mowers. They Give Good Performance and are Well Manufactured. If this is your First Experience with 2-cycle Engines, I Suggest you Purchase a Gas Can and Mark it Just for the Mower. This will Help Prevent Putting Regular Gas into the Mower. Once you Become Familiar with the Lawn Boy Mower you will Find they are Sturdy and will Handle Almost any Mowing you need to Perform. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
