Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): best small engine for a riding lawn mower, briggs and stratton, bad taste in my mouth

Question
Hi, my Simplicity mower is acting horrible and I want to replace it with a new riding mower. Briggs and Stratton has left a bad taste in my mouth and am leaning more towards a Kohler. Is a Kohler a better engine than a Briggs?  I've been looking at a Cub Cadet with a 23 hp. Am I correct or just paranoid because of a bad experience?
Thanks

Answer
 Hello Mark:

Today you are going to find that All the Engines are Having Problems. I like the Industrial/Commercial Engines that Briggs, Kohler and Tecumseh Offer. Honda is a Good Engine also. I Suggest the Kohler I/C Engines for Ride On Mowers. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance.  Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
