Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Drive Belt 34 replacement on Bolens G-14 Model 1453, double pulley, drive shaft

I am attempting to replace both v-drive belts (34") acquired at NAPA, on my Bolens G-14 (will replace both to maintain same length) 42 1/2" PTO belts (pair) are easy to replace. The drive belts seem impossible to replace, I am unable to get them on underneath without removing the entire drive shaft ? Got to be an easy obvious way?

sorry to say,  but if its the style where shaft runs front to back  on unit, and the double pulley is like in front of dash panel??? and shaft runs back to trans?? you do have to split the shaft to remove and replace the belts.  and yes>> always replace both of them at once.
