Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snowblower govenor, tecumseh engine, jacobsen snowblower

Question
I recently had to remove and clean the carburetor on my Jacobsen Snowblower model #824 UT-35019 with a Tecumseh engine,  Model # HSK 60. After the cleaning the engine runs fine but I am having difficulty adjusting the carburator because of the govenor. the snonblower is probably 25 years old and I can't find any information on how to adjust it.Do you have any suggestions.

Answer
 Hello Paul:

Loosen the Governor Arm from the Governor Shaft and Turn the Shaft Clockwise. Hold the Governor Arm so the Carburetor is Full Open and Tighten the Governor Arm to the Shaft. If the Engine Runs Full throttle, then Loosen the Governor Arm from the Shaft and Reverse the Direction of the Shaft. When the Internal Governor Contacts the Governor Shaft Contact it Pushes the Governor Arm to Slow the Engine RPM's. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
