Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Homelite Blower, head gasket, fuel mixture

Question
Well I do have the needles that do NOT have the limit caps on them so I will follow the initial setting advice. Do you know if Homelite has any authorized dealers that I could get  those gaskets? About 4 would do. Don't need the caburetor internal ones. I didn't see any on eBay and most of the sellers  are asking entirely too much for shipping. JD thanks again for lending the advice!

the gasket "between" the carb and the intake is fine. No tears. I sprayed WD 40 where the head gasket is and noticed some bubbling. I will recheck the needle valves.
I just wanted to know if you felt that we need to eliminate the suggestion that I made about there possibly being a leak in the block/head area or crank seal? When the choke is completely off, it seems in theory that the carburetor is getting way more air than it can handle. That the fuel mixture is out of whack to support the amount of air coming through. Would you please address this? Appreciate it.
P.S. I have the engine completely torn down at this point. I would like to start over with All new gaskets and even put sealer around the head gasket if that would be added insurance. What do you think? I want to leave no stone unturned while it is torn down. Thanks again!!

-----Question-----
Here's what this Homelite HB180V Blower is doing and what I have done. In full choke (A position), it starts up eagerly on first pull. With the throttle open, and moving to mid choke(B position), it will run a bit and then die. When it is warm enough, it will actually run with the choke lever BETWEEN beginning choke and mid choke position. When the lever is moved to mid choke it will die and when the lever is moved to the final "running position"(C position), it will immediately die. The engine, will easily restart again on A begin to die on B but then turning the lever BACK in between B and A, it will run. Just between full choke and mid choke. And it runs VERY smooth with good power in this position.
The carb has been cleaned, both new fuel lines replaced, new fuel filter installed, screen inside the muffler clean.
I really think it is an air leak or it is sucking air somewhere. Maybe below the fins where there appears to be some mounting screws or maybe somewhere else. But clearly, I believe that I have exhausted the typical areas to check and
realize that this blower has good power and the ability to run very smooth based on my explanation here. I just don't believe that it is fuel/carburetor related after addressing those areas as described. How about the air problems that I am leaning towards now? Thanks in advance

if you removed the carb.  you need to know if you tore gasket to engine block mounting.  and did you adjust carb needle valeves (L) (H) should have 2.  turn them in til seated,  then back out 1 and 1/2 turns.  readjust as needed.

i know of the gasket  which you seem to be talking about.  its the cylinder to block gasket. tighten them  up  and see if that helps. replacing of course is a better idea if you have this all apart. the machining in the parts don,t really  need anything on gaskets.  i am  leaning towards carburation.  settings, and carb.  internal dia., fuel needle settings, etc.

Answer
i have some parts supply here.  let me check on it.   you want > the cylinder gaskets? the sort of square one with the 4 hex bolts to the block?  or ?
give me model and serial numbers ,etc. again  please i,ll check.
as for where to get parts>  i get mine throught some local dealers here in  allentown pa. area when i get numbers of what you need i,ll check on it for you.
and as for helping you>>>>  no problem  i hope i do.   i am not into it heavy anymore cause of age, and unsteady hands,  but still play with this stuff.
