Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftman lawn tractor- no sparks, safety switches, tractor model

My craftman tractor model# 917.259566  19.5hp
just won't start!!! it cranks ok,  but the there is no juice(sparks) getting to the sparkplugs. Is it the points?
Are the points located under the flywheel? I need help!! the grass is trying to get into the house and my wife gave me an ultimatum, cut it or go sleep with the dogs!!!!

 Hello Carlos:

 Check the Seat Safety Switch. If this is Bad the Engine Can't Fire the Plug. There are No Point Set for this Engine. It is Electronic Ignition(Coil) and these Seldom are a Problem. There are Numerous Switches that will Cause the Coil Not to Allow the Plug to Fire. You can View a Breakdown/IPl at this Addy http://www3.sears.com/ and Select the Lawn Equipment Box in the Lower Right. Then Enter the Model Numbers and Click Continue. Then Verify the Equipment and Click Continue. On this Page you can Select to View a Parts List or a Diagram of the Mower in a Sectional View. If After Checking All the Safety Switches and they are Good, then Follow Up to me and I will have the Engine Information I Require by then. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance.
