Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Drive Belt, john deere lawn, mower deck

John, I need to replace the drive belt on John Deere Lawn/Garden rider Mod LX172. Manual that came with it gives instructions on changing belts on the mower deck but does not offer advice on changing the drive belt.  Can you help me, please?

 Go to this Addy http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers LX172 and Click Find. Then Click on the Model in the Search Results Area. Then Select the Sectional View. Then Select Power Train. Then Select Belt Drive and Idlers. This ia a Breakdown/IPL of the Drive System and Belt Routing. You May have to Remove the Belt Guards, Diagrams # 13, 24, 32 and the Arm # 5. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance.
