Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Coleman proforce generator, coleman proforce generator, hi jack

I have purchased a proforce 3125 generator about 2 weeks ago new and been having trouble getting it to run steady. I star it it will run for a bit then it goes into a cycle where it will run for a bit then it will almost die the it runs again and then it almost dies, it doedx this about ever 30 secs or so. do you have any idea what is causing this?

Hi Jack,

If the unit is new I would have it repaired or replaced under warranty.  First, make sure that it is not under too much of a load caused by electric motors in appliances.  They may be cycling on and off causing what you see.
