Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawnmower B & S 7.5 HP, woodruff key, plug hole

Question
I was mowing with my 7.5 Sears self-propelled walk behind when I hit a small snag.  The blade was bent and the woodruff key was sheared so I replaced both.  When I try to start it, it kicks back and loosens the blade.  I have started it but it runs rough and noisy.  Is it out of time and if yes how do I put it back?

Answer
 Hello Jerry:

Did you Bend the Crankshaft? Remove the Spark Plug. Tilt the Mower Towards the Spark Plug Hole and Remove the Blade. Look At the Blade Mount Hole and Turn the Engine. Is this Hole Staying True or is it Wobbling. If it is Wobbling, then the Crankshaft is Bent. From your Description I Would Say the Cam Might be  Twisted a Little Also. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
