Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): JohnDeere Sabre 1642HS Followup, safety switch, wiring harness

Question
I had already been to the Addy you listed and there is no electrical schematic there.  I did print out the wiring harness diagram and it helps some but I need to trace wires and find the problem.
The symptoms are after I start the mower when I let up on the brake pedal is stops, if I keep my foot on the brake and try to engage the PTO it stops.  It has to be in the safety interlocking wiring, but I cannot find any shorts, bad switches, plugs, or any visual problem in checking what I can get to without removing major assemblies from the mower.  I have contacted a local (? 20-30 miles away) dealer, but that looks more like -bring it in we'll fix it-- It worked and now it doesn't and I don't think it is major, just hard to find and repair.
Again thanks for your consideration of this problem.

Answer
 Hello Ron:

Are you Sure the Brake/Clutch Safety Switch is Good? What is the Voltage when the Engine is Running at Full Throttle? Have you Checked the PTO Switch? Does this Mower have a Relay Under the Seat? I Noticed the Wiring Diagram Shows a Relay. If the Relay is Bad, it will Cause the Problem you are Having. Are you Sure the Engine isnt Starving for Gas Under a Load and Causing the Engine to Shutoff? Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
