Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): troybilt tiller 8hp older model, wheels and axles, drift pins

Question
How do you remove the wheels and axles so that transmission repairs can be made? The wheels seem to be frozen on the axles after the drift pins are removed.

Answer
 Hello Charles:

Spray the Axles and the Wheels and the Any Nut and Bolt Head you See on the Tiller with PB Rust Catalyst. Allow the PB to Work for at Least 4 Hours or Overnight would be Better. Go Back and Re-Spray the Tiller after about 2 Hours. The Total Soak Time is 6 Hours to Get Good Penetration. You Cant Use too Much PB. Lock the Tiller Transmission and Work the the Wheels Back and Forth Until they Turn Easily in a Complete Circle. Use the PB Lubrication while Working the Wheels Back and Forth. Once the Wheels Turn On the Axles, Turn and Pull at the Same Time and Work the Wheels Off the Axles. If you have to Use Heat, Remove the Wheels from the Rims First. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Tiller, Please. With these Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
