Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): homelite chain saw, engine case, timberman

Question
-------------------------------------------
The text above is a follow-up to ...What are the steps to clean or replace the oil pump? Is it worth the price of another saw?

-----Question-----
I have a homelite 18" Timberman chain saw (UT-10910) that has quit oiling the chain. I have thoroughly cleaned everything, tried a couple of solvents, no luck. How does the saw oil the chain, by a pump or what?
Thanks

 Hello Dennis:

This Saw has an Internal Oil Pump. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Saw at this Addy http://www.homelite.com/parts/index.htm and Click Go to Homelite Parts Store. Then Enter the Model Numbers UT-10910 and Click Search. Then Double Click on the Model in the Search Results. This will Open a New Window to View the Breakdown/IPL of the Saw. Click on the Engine - Internal Oil Pump File. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

Answer
 Hello Dennis:

The Engine has to be Removed from the Case and then the Lower Engine Case is Removed. Then the Oil Pump is Accessible for Removal. Look at the Breakdown/IPL of the Engine at the Addy from my Earlier Email. The Breakdown should be of Help when Doing this Repair. The Oil Pump Kit Part Number is UP06602 and Costs $27.32 Plus Shipping and Tax. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
