Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman 18,42chainsaw Mod# 358.351081, air bubbles, dry rot

Question
I acquired second hand chain saw that had been stored in a shed for at least two years, chain rusty, primer blub dry rot. after replacing the blub the saw started and ran,the problem is when I started using it,it acted like it was running out of gas,but the tank was full, after letting it rest after numerous attemps to start it.I removed the top hood, and the side cover so I could see the fuel in the lines, when pushing in on the primer I saw air bubbles moving thur the large line coming from the fuel tank, going to the primer blub, and from the primer blub to the carburetor and back to the tank(small line).I was told that there is a leak in the fuel line which is the reason for the bubble.I notice that the replacement primer blub # 530071835 has the fitting for small lines notlike the OEM # 530047566,which has a fitting for the large line and one for the small. I was told that this is the correct replacement, cut off the tipe of large line and reinstall it, which did not seem right because the line was too large, could this be the problem or do I need to look at something else.
the carburetor is a walbro- WT 391.
I also would like to know if there is a manual you can recommend  for service and repair.

                 Thank You

Answer
 Hello Darryl:

If Cutting the End of the Large Line Didnt Work, tou May need to Replace the Line with a New One. I have had to Replace the Large Line on Several Machines because of this Problem. When I finally get to a Section of the Line that Fits the Fitting the Line is too Short to Work Properly. You can Contact Poulan @ 870-845-1234 for Information on Obtaining a Shop Manual or Contact Michelle @205-669-2500 to Purchase an Operators Manual. Hope this Helps.
