Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Weedwacker starts but dies when choke off, carburator, spark arrestor

Question
Model 358.795560 replaced fuel tank, purge bulb, plug, fresh gas. full choke on starts and runs for a couple of seconds. Got to be fast to change to half choke starts to run better for a couple of seconds then dies. When I turn choke full/half off it dies immediately. I have pulled the carb. Cleaned what was needed. Changed around the gas lines in everyway possible but no change. The carb looks new to me but I wonder if the gaskets are more clogged than I can see. If I feather the choke between full and half it wants to run pretty good til I set the choke open. Is it the carb you think

Answer
 Hello Gregory:

First Remove the Muffler and Inspect the Exhaust Port and Muffler for Blockage. Check the Spark Arrestor Screen in the Muffler for Blockage. If these are Clear, then Remove the Carburator and Soak it Overnight in Gunk Carburator Cleaner and then Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air. Install New Kit. You can View this Trimmer at this Addy http://www3.sears.com/ and Click the Lawn Equipment Box. Then Follow the Direction to get to the View Diagram/View Parts List Page. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
