Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Murray pushmower B&S 4.6HP Model 226110X92A, fuel mix, few more minutes

Question
My son accidentally put chainsaw gas (with oil) in my lawnmower.  We changed the spark plug and drained the gas and refilled with clean gas.  Engine is hard to start, smokes, and will only run a few seconds unless you tip the handle way down and blades up, it smokes coughs, then runs for a few more minutes.  Can this be fixed? We cannot locate a fuel filter anywhere, in line or in the tank.

Answer
 Hello Kathy:

Sometimes Running the Engine with No Load will Clear the Carburator Jet of the Fuel Mix and Other Times the Carburator has to be Cleaned and Blown Out with Compressed Air to Clean the Fuel Mix Out. If Running the Engine with No Load (setting on Pavement or Concrete) for 5 to 10 Minutes doesnt Clear up the Problem, then the Carburator will have to be Disassembled and Cleaned. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
