Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): B&S Lawn tractor starting problem - F/U, twin cylinder engine, clutch linkage

Question
Thank you for your quick response and directions for downloading parts list. I have done alot of work on car engines but not small egines so I am not sure on some of your terms and location of parts. My mower is a Montgomery Ward "Powerkraft" series, 18hp twin cylinder, engine model# 422707, Type 141201, Code 9503025B.If you can tell where to find the Coil shutoff wire and where the safty switches are locted, that would be a big help to start. I don't have a specific mower model#, just the Powerkraft reference. Thank you for your help and consideration!

Answer
 Hello Kevin:

The Seat Safety is Under the Seat. The Clutch Safety can be in Several Places. Just Follow the Clutch Linkage from the Pedal and you can Locate it Easily. The Coil Shutoff Wire is on the Throttle Control Bracket, Most times Attached to the Engine. Some Are Connected to the Ignition Switch and Not to the Throttle Control Bracket. There should be a Connector Near the Blower Housing that when Disconnected the Engine will Not Shutoff when the Key is Turned to the Off Position. You can View this Engine at this Addy http://shop.briggsandstratton.com/BShopProductListingPage.asp?rsvp=0&PARENTID=0&... and Enter the Model and Type Numbers and Click Search. Then Scroll Down to the 2nd Listing and Click on View PDF> This will Download a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
