Question -
Hi,  Because it is a generic dirt bike, it doesn't have a make or model that I know of.  What is a bad Coil/Ignition Module/Igniter?  It doesn't matter what temp the engine is, it just won't spark at all.  Do you know if there is a way to fix that without replaceing something?  If the coil is bad, Does the whole thing need to be replaced, or is there some way I can fix it?
Thanks!

Question -
Hi, I just bought a generic dirt bike off of eBay and i ran it for a about a half hour and then it stopped.  I checked the spark plug and it wasn't sparking.  So i took it over to a three wheeler and tried and it sparked.  The bike had some sort of electrical problem I think.  I'm not sure what happened that made it stop working.  Here is where I got it: http://www.acedivision.com/osCommerce/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=60&products
So, If you know what might be the problem I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

 Hello Johnathan:

From your Description It Sounds like a Bad Coil/Ignition Module/Igniter. When the Coil/Ignition Module/Igniter gets Hot it Stops Firing the Plug and when it Cools enough it will Start Firing the Plug Again. Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Better Assist you. Thanks.

 Hello Jonathan:

From what I have seen of the Engine I Suggest you Replace the CDI. Usually the CDI will go Bad and Cause the Engine Not to Fire. I have sent a Request to the Addy you Provided for Information on this Engine. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
