Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): solenoid installation on murry riding mower 12hp briggs and straton, new spark, coil ignition

i just installed a new starter and solenoid on my mower but it will not start it has a new spark plug also. the engine turns over but it will not start. i am not sure i have the solenoid installed correctly. there are 3 red wires and 1 black is it possible that one of the wires are crossed that would prevent the mower from starting. When i removed thespark plug &  reconnected the wire to the plug i held it against the engine block but got no spark.

 Hello Ray:

 Disconnect the Coil Shutoff Wire from the Coil. If There is Fire with this Disconnected, then a Safety Switch is the Problem. Check the Seat and Blade Safety Switches. If there is Still No Fire, then the Coil/Ignition Module/Igniter is Bad. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Mower and the Make, Model , Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower and the Engine and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. let me know what Happens, Please.
