Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): McCulloch Chainsaw,3216, fuel line, fuel lines


Question
The small primmer bulb on my MAC 3216 dry rotted and had to replace it,after replacing it i found out the fuel lines were also hard and brittle,had to replace them.My question is (does the filter on the end of the fuel line just lay on the bottom of the tank,and how do you go about installing all the fuel lines?)My chainsaw is a McCulloch 3216   Model 600032 09  32cc.Would apreaciate all the help i can get.Thank you.

 Hello Billy:

 Yes the Filter Lays in the Bottom of the Tank. Replace the Lines One at a Time. Buy Extra Long Fuel Line and Push the Feed Line into the Tank and Feed it Out the Tank Fill. Use a Piece of Wire Hooked on 1 End to Catch the Line and Guide it out of the Tank. Place the Filter on the Line and leave enough Line so the Filter will Hang Just Out of the Fill Hole of the Tank. The Put the Filter and Line Back into the Tank. Hook the Other End of the Line to the Carburator. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
