Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): NO GAS, murry lawn tractor, free flows

HI JOHN
I HAVE A 6 YEAR OLD MURRY LAWN TRACTOR WITH BRIGGS 17 HP ENG. ITS GETS NO GAS INTO CARB. IF I PUT SOME IN ITS FINE TILL IT RUNS OUT. HELP!!

 Hello Steve:

 Make sure the Tank and Gas Lines to the Carburator are Clean and the Gas Free Flows to the Carburator Inlet. If the Gas Free Flows to the Carburator, then Clean and Rebuild the Carburator. Remove and Disassemble and Soak the Carburator Overnight in Cleaning Solution(Gunk Carburator Cleaner). Then Blow Out All the Passages with Compressed Air.  Install Kit.
