Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): weed eater trimmer, grass weeds, weed eater

Question
ive had this weed eater trimmer for three years.  i was trimming down some high weeds and a whole bunch got rapped around the trimmer cutting blade.  i killed the motor and removed the weeds and then restarted it wen i gave it gas it jus stalled at idle rpm or tried to rev up but was stuck at low can anybody tell me whats wrong?

 Hello Steve:

 Make Sure that All the Long Grass/Weeds are Not Wrapped Around the Bearing at the Trimmer Head. Remove the Trimmer Head to do this. Does the Trimmer Head Turn Smoothly by Hand? Hope this Helps.
