Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): belt adjustment on craftsmen tractor, craftmens, mower deck

Yes i have a craftmens mower model # 917.271822 and I'm having a problem of adjusted the deck belt I have put a new belt on, a new cluth cable on and still the belt is loose even when the blades are engage. Are there any other adjustments that I'm missing? Thanks Alan

 If have Purchased the Proper Length Belt, then Check the Routing of the Belt. You can View a Breakdown of the Mower and the Deck at this Addy http://www3.sears.com/ and Click on the Box, Lawn Equipment. Then Enter the Model Numbers and Click Continue. Then Verify the Equipment. Then on the View Diagram/View Parts List Page, Select the View Diagram of the Mower Deck. Hope this Helps. I am here if you require more Assistance.
