Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): starting weed eater, weed eater, plug hole

my TE400CXL twist-n-edge weed eater ran out of gas mix. I refilled it and now can't get it to start. why is this?

Hi Clyde,

Maybe the fuel has not reached the cylinder yet.  Try choking and pulling it over more.  If no change, remove and check the condition of the spark plug for fuel wetness and spark. If you have spark and the plug is dry, add a teaspoon of fuel into the spark plug hole, re-install the plug and try to start.
