Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman mower belt replacement, mower blade, mower deck

I have a Craftsman riding mower, model # 917.270514.  I need to replace the mower blade belt.  I know the pattern for how the belt should run.  It appears I need to drop the mower deck from the mower itself, but don't know what to release.  The Sears parts breakdown does not help.  Suggestions please.

 Hello John:

 Lower the Desk to its Lowest Position. You are Looking for the Lift Bar that has a Threaded Rod in the Center of it. The Deck Hangs on this Bar. this is # 19 on the Parts Breakdown. There is One on the Other Side Also. Follow this Bar to the Outer Ends and Remove the Clips(#13) that are Holding the Deck to the Lift Bar. Once the Clips are Removed the Deck Lift Bar is Moved and the Deck will Be Free Of the Mower. Remove the Front Clips(#20)(under the Front Axle, Almost) and Release the Front Links(#15). Remove the Belt. I Dont think I forgot Anything, But you can see if the Deck is Ready to Remove from Under the Mower. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome.
