Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): drive clutch cable, clutch cable, lawn mower

Hello, I have a honda hrm215sxa lawn mower. The mower is clicking when I try to put it in 1st or 2nd gear. It was working partly and would stop for afew seconds then start driving again. I tried to adjust the drive clutch cable and just is totally not working now. Could it be the transmission or perhaps the cable, or is there a bearing or pin that has gone bad? Whats your course of action.

 From your Description I Suggest Replacing/Rebuilding the Transmission. The Transmission has a Gear (either the Worm or Drive Gear) with Broken/Stripped Teeth. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.
