My lawnmower was cutting fine; then it started to smoke from underneath.  I shut it off & restarted it, but now it will not cut.

 Hello Kita:

 From your Description, I Think you have a Problem with the Deck Idler or One of the Blade Mandrels(Towers) or Something got Wedged Between the Belt and Pulley and Locked Up the Belt and Burnt it Apart. Remove the Deck and Check the Idlers and the Mandrels. The Belt will have to be Replaced. Send me the Make and Model Numbers Off of the Mower and I May be Able to Locate a Breakdown for you to View Online.
