Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Scott Bonnar mower, model 450511, scott bonnar, bicycle repair shop

Hello John,
I have just recieved a Scott Bonnar mower with no engine, side plate, and catcher and have no experience with fixing it up but would enjoy having a go at it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, ie, what type of engine should be used, drive chain etc. For interest the mower number is 00723.

 Hello Shaun:

 I suggest a Briggs and Stratton Engine(Size Depends on the Cutter Deck). I would Not use Less than 12hp on a Riding Mower. The Drive Chain can be Purchased at any Bicycle Repair shop or Small Engine Shop. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.
