Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Murray Select 12 HP B&S Starting Problem., crankshaft pulley, hp engine

Dear Sir,
I have a Murray Selct 30" Riding mower with a Briggs 12 HP engine. It sounds as though it has plenty of juice and is engaging the starter but the starter just makes a Click as if the crank is jammed and it cant turn the engine. I have replaced the battery, plug,and the solynoid and this is where I am at. I just read that these type engines have cut offs when the oil is low. Would this sound like my problem, it is low on oil, but I cant even turn the engine manually as if it is locked up. It was running fine last week and just stopped on me.  Hello Joseph:

 First Remove the Belts from the Crankshaft Pulley. If the Engine Still Doesnt Turn by Hand, then Remove the Blower Housing(metal engine cover) and check the Starter Drive Gear and the Coil. Is Coil or the Starter Jamed to the Flywheel? Is the Engine Overfilled with Oil? If Not, then there is Most Likely an Internal Problem Locking Up the Engine. Hope this Helps.
