Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): snapper riding mower deck, mandral, edge of the blade

Question
John, The model # is SR95, but I noticed that one of the cables that are used to adjust the deck doesn't have any weight on it at all. Could this be due to to the deck being twisted, any help will be appreciated Thanks Jody

I have snapper riding mower that is not cutting level I adjusted the two cables towards the back of the deck is thereany other way to level it or is that the only way .  Thanks

Answer -
 Hello Jody:

Most times when a Snapper is Cutting Unlevel it is Due to a Bent Blade or a Bad Mandral. The Mandral/Quill Assembly is the Assembly that Turns the Blade. If the Bearings get Worn or Loose the Blade will Cut One Sided. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Mower, Please. With these I can View a Breakdown of the Mower and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I Enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.

Answer
 Hello Jody:

Park the Mower on Level Concrete or Asphalt. Make sure the Tires All have the Same Pressure. Remove the Spark From the Engine. Turn the Blades so it is Pointed Side to Side. Measure from the Cutting Edge of the Blade to the Concrete/Asphalt. Then Measure the Other End of the Blade the Same Way. DO NOT MOVE THE BLADE WHEN DOING THE MEASURING. Now Adjust Lower Side to Match the Higher Side. Even with the Deck Bent, As long as the Blade can be Set Level, you will have No Problems. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.
